Helen is an ambitious business professional with over 33 years of experience in taxation, accounting and finance. From being a senior tax practitioner in a large, multinational CPA firm for over 18 years, to operating her own public accounting practice for the last 15 years, Helen is proficient in matters relating to income taxation, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, business development, and strategic leadership.
Helen has consulted to CPA Canada and CPA Ontario regarding income tax practice standards and guidelines, risk management and tax best practices. She provided input, reviewed, edited, and authored sections of "The Tax Risk Management Guide" and developed a digital product for CPA Canada for use by practitioners and provincial bodies to assess tax practice risks and identify corrective measures.
